We invite our visitors to share in our work by making financial donations, or donations of time and skills. We understand that visitors to our site and donors may want to know what we do with the information we collect and how we secure that information. IMA is committed to respecting the privacy of our visitors and donors.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Your credit card information is used for donations only. IMA World Health uses a secure, third party service provider to process all credit card donations. Credit card and billing information you provide is used by the service provider to process your donation only. We make an effort to require all third party service providers to hold personal information in strict confidence. While we believe these other companies are upstanding and will treat your personal information responsibly, we do not own or control them.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
All personally identifiable information obtained through this website, mail or other means is kept strictly confidential and used by authorized IMA World Health personnel for our purposes only. We do not, for any reason, sell, give, exchange, lend or lease our mailing lists, e-mail addresses or other personal identifiable information to any third party except as follows:
- when you have consented to such a disclosure;
- to third parties that help us to provide certain products or services to you or to process payments or donations;

We ask for personal information on our online donation pages, mail in donation forms, or donations made over the phone and use this information to acknowledge receipt of your donation for tax purposes. In addition, your name and other information will be placed on our mailing list. If you are a donor to IMA World Health or a medical service volunteer that we have served, data collected online may be combined and correlated with information you have provided by other means so that we can serve you more efficiently.
If you wish to make a donation in honor of or in memory of someone, we will not use the information you give us about that individual for any other purpose.
E-MAIL ADDRESSES
Our web site does not automatically recognize your e-mail address. We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us by e-mail, and we ask for your e-mail address on our donation pages newsletter sign-up, mail in donation forms, conference sign-up materials.

If you do not want to receive the online newsletter or other periodic e-mail updates, please let us know by following the unsubscribe link found in any e-mail update received from us. You may write to us at the address provided at the end of this policy.
