Sponsors and Sponsorship Opportunities SMK Day at IMA is made possible because of community support given to the program. We encourage you to keep the participating businesses and social clubs in mind long after the event ends. Our sponsors are making a real impact in the global community. |
Life is fragile, but so valuable. In many developing countries, infant and maternal mortality rates are staggering. Too often, unsafe and unsanitary birthing conditions are to blame.
We’ve made it our mission to change that - and YOU can help!
IMA World Health's Safe Motherhood Kits™ provide clean and sterile birthing supplies to expectant mothers in those areas.
On Oct. 13, help us assemble 3,000 kits at IMA’s New Windsor campus and know that in just a few hours - you could save the life of a mother or child.
It’s a simple plastic bag filled with essential clean and sterile supplies including gloves, umbilical tie, scalpel, gauze pads, plastic sheeting, bar of soap, washcloth and baby supplies (a hat, tunic and blanket). IMA also provides education on safe birthing procedures and training on the proper use of a Safe Motherhood Kit™ to ensure the safest birth possible.
We can always use additional supplies to put in the kits such as Ivory soap, new wash cloths, baby caps and onesies.
If you can't make it Oct. 13, consider making a gift to the program. One $25 gift provides an entire Safe Motherhood Kit™ to an expectant mother.
