Provide Medicines and Supplies

Since 1960, IMA has been procuring and sending medicines and supplies to
advance health care and improve conditions in some of the neediest places
all over the world.

Sending Supplies and Hope Around the Globe

Imagine that the only hospital within hours of your home had no medications or sterile supplies. Doctors are few and overworked; beds are scarce and treatment options are limited. That's the reality of health care in much of the developing world, where even the most basic care is often a luxury.

Since 1960, IMA has been procuring and sending medicines and supplies to advance health care and improve conditions in some of the neediest places all over the world.

To date, IMA has distributed over $1 billion in medicines and supplies worldwide.

What We Do

Though IMA's focus has expanded over the years to include other international program functions, we remain strongly dedicated to providing much-needed supplies through a variety of distribution programs.

	Procurement and Distribution IMA has been distributing donated and acquired medicines and supplies all around the world for over 50 years.
	IMA Medicine Box® As IMA's flagship supply program, these shipments of pain medications, antibiotics and first aid items have been sent to over 52 countries and are sufficient to treat up to 1,000 people for two months in rural communities where health care supplies are scarce.
	Safe Motherhood Kits™ These life-saving kits are packed with essential clean and sterile birthing supplies to provide a safe delivery environment for mothers and babies in areas where deadly infection and complications are common.
	Healthy Kids Kits These portable hygiene kits are designed to help kids prevent disease in Haiti by encouraging frequent hand and face washing.
