Children in post-disaster situations tend to roam over wide areas in search of food and water, dramatically increasing the spread of disease. Fortunately, there are easy ways for kids to prevent disease and stay healthy, including frequent hand and face washing. Unfortunately, hygiene products are often scarce in the developing world.
Working with our Haitian staff to identify basic needs, IMA World Health has developed Healthy Kids Kits —a small but powerful package containing a bar of soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, skin lotion and a new washcloth—all the essentials to keep disease at bay.
Please help fight disease in Haiti by supporting our Healthy Kids Kits program. Your gift of $15 provides a Healthy Kids Kit for one child; for only $45, a Family Pack provides Kits for three children. A gift of $300 will fund a Classroom Pack, with enough kits for a classroom of 20 children.
