Project AXxes Coordinator Nominated for Award

Yvette Mulongo Project AXxes Family Planning Coordinator is selected for Americans for UNFPA’s “2011 Board of Advocate Award”!

Yvette Mulongo, Family Planning Coordinator for Project AXxes has been nominated by Americans for UNFPA in New York office to receive the 2011 "Board of Advocate Award" for her work in promoting family planning and advocacy for victims of SGVB in the DRC as part of her work with the USAID/AXxes project in the DRC.

She will attend the Americans for UNFPA award promotion and award ceremony from February 27th - March 9th. The program will start in the Twin Cities then move to Seattle and end in San Francisco. She will visit stakeholders and partners in Chicago, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. thereafter where she will continue to promote the work and accomplishments in DRC. Congratulations Yvette!
