Peaceful elections held in South Sudan :

South Sudan – Peaceful national elections were held with the end result a continuation of the political status quo and eyes now focused on the planned referendum on independence to take place early next year. Despite election delays, the long awaited and renegotiated contract on the delivery of basic health services was signed recently with the Ministry of Health, paving the way for full program implementation.
