IMA World Helath Receives $250,000 Gift from F. Dohmen Co. Foundation

IMA’s Impact, Efficiency Garners Support from Healthcare Supply Icon

New Windsor, MD—The F. Dohmen Co. Foundation has recognized IMA World Health (IMA) with a gift of $250,000 to support IMA’s programs and services—and to help meet IMA’s burgeoning capacity-building needs.

Foundation for its support and for recognizing the effect and efficiency of our work,” said Paul Derstine, President, IMA. “Demand for IMA’s programs and services is enormous and continues to grow. This gift will help make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.”

The gift is part of $1.5 million in grants that The F. Dohmen Co. Foundation made to charities in 2008 in celebration of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based healthcare company’s 150th anniversary. IMA is one of three organizations selected for a $250,000 gift.

For nearly 50 years, IMA has been providing essential healthcare supplies and services and bolstering healthcare systems in developing nations across the globe.

Forbes recently recognized IMA as one of the most efficient large charities in the United States, and IMA consistently receives the highest efficiency ratings possible from charity watchdog groups like Charity Navigator.
