Whether responding to a natural disaster or the needs of a war-torn population, Medicine Boxes® are found in many corners of a hurting world.
In developing countries, medical staff often lack essential supplies to provide even the most basic care. The IMA Medicine Box® is a mobile treasure chest for clinics and hospitals, providing medicines and supplies to treat a variety of common illnesses.
Each Medicine Box® contains enough medicine and supplies to treat up to 1,000 people for approximately two months, including pain medications, antibiotics and first aid items.
To date, the Medicine Box® program has treated over 11 million people in 52 countries. Last year alone, IMA distributed 511 Medicine Boxes® to 36 nations, equipping more than 200 medical mission teams with more than $1.9 million in donated products.
