Maternal Newborn Child Health

What is it?

Women and children suffer the worst from poverty and disease in post-conflict and developing countries.

Due to unsafe conditions and a lack of access to medical care, infection is common for new mothers after childbirth; meanwhile, their babies are susceptible to malaria and other preventable disease. Fortunately, women and children can enjoy better health through education and appropriate prevention activities.

Through our Maternal and Newborn Child Health programs, IMA World Health is dedicated to supporting women and their babies as the foundation of improving overall health care in developing countries.
