New Tanzanian Rep Visits New Windsor Office

IMA Tanzania Rep Jim Cox speaks
to the staff during a staff meeting in July.
Jim Cox, the new IMA Representative in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, visited the New Windsor office in the first week of July for consultative discussions and for his introduction to IMA staff. It was his first visit to the IMA headquarters since being appointed to this position in April. The former Country Representative, Dr. Daniel Nyagawa, now serves as the Senior Technical Adviser for the Tanzania program after nearly six years at the helm of IMA’s flagship program in East Africa.

During his visit Jim gave a detailed presentation of the present day activities of the Tanzania program and answered a number of questions from staff members. He said that the Tanzanian IMA staff, like their counterparts in the USA, "take deep pride in their association with IMA."

Jim and his wife, who serves as the regional director for another international NGO in Tanzania, have two young daughters and have lived in the East African country for the past two years.
