Imagine Life With Limited Access to Medicine

We have a large supplies of medicines available in our warehouse, but not the funds to deliver them. Will you help?

Staff Report/IMA

What do you do when you have a fever?

Most of us simply go to the medicine cabinet or to the corner drug store to pick up what we need.

Imagine living in a country in the developing world where there are no medicine cabinets or drug stores – you have to travel to a local clinic or hospital and hope they have the supplies on hand.

Often, these clinics and hospitals depend on receiving these medicines from IMA World Health.

And right now, we have a large supply of medicines available to us in our warehouse.  But getting it to people who need it is an enormous challenge—we have the medicines, but not the funds to deliver them. Because of the catastrophes that hit Haiti this year, we’ve had to nearly deplete the funds needed to deliver the medicines to those who need them, whether in Haiti or Sudan, DR Congo or Tanzania.

You can make a significant impact right away. Your gifts will help us get medicines, bandages, ointments, and other basic medicines and supplies to those who have few options without our help.

It can take $10,000 or more to get medicines into developing countries and distributed where they are needed.  But each shipment also will treat thousands of people, so every dollar is making an impact.  Imagine how many people can be helped by your gift!

Thanks to the caring support of people like you, IMA has been providing medicines to people in need for over 50 years. Please make a secure online donation to keep the supply of medicines flowing.
