Thanks to a generous supporter of IMA, a $50,000 matching gift fund has been created for our 50th anniversary year. All cash gifts to IMA in 2010 will be matched dollar-for-dollar—but only until the $50,000 fund is exhausted.
Your generous gift to IMA will help provide basic medicines, supplies, and other basic health care services to some of the world’s most vulnerable populations. The matching gift fund provides a way to increase the impact of your gift.
Plus, IMA is extraordinarily efficient—for the second straight year, IMA has been named one of the nation’s “20 Most Efficient Charities” by Forbes, and for six years running IMA has received Charity Navigator’s highest ratingfor efficiency, four stars. (Please note that the matching contribution will be designated to areas of greatest need).

Employer Matching
Many employers support workplace giving programs and will match charitable gifts made by employees dollar for dollar -- sometimes even more! This is a great way to multiply the size of your gift for the work of IMA World Health.
Check with your employer to see if your gift to IMA World Health is eligible. (Some workplaces list us under our incorporated name of "Interchurch Medical Assistance.") Be sure to request a matching gift form from your employer, complete and sign it, and send it to the address below. IMA World Health will contact your company to obtain the matching gift.

United Way
United Way is one of the country’s largest managers of coordinated campaigns and holds its annual pledge drive once a year.
If your organization participates in the United Way campaign, check to see if IMA World Health is an eligible charity (some workplaces list us under our incorporated name of "Interchurch Medical Assistance"). If we are not listed, many workplaces allow employees to write in the names of their favorite charities. And if that isn't possible, please ask your employer to consider including IMA World Health as an eligible charity.
